about me

why I started senior advice
My name is Michiel Kok, I worked at Shell for years and am also a (voluntary) consultant at the ANBO-PCOB for the elderly.  I made the decision in 2024 to focus my time and energy on helping seniors and founded Senior Advice.  I now provide tailor-made advice and organization for seniors, for example when looking for suitable housing, adjustments to the current home and requesting facilities, but also with legal issues.
From my volunteer work at ANBO-PCOB, I saw that many people could use help with all kinds of matters. E.g. Applying for a WMO provision becomes very complex if you are not digitally skilled. That also seems to be a theme with the government, that many application procedures are not simple.  As a result, the target group for which the facilities are intended have enormous difficulty in using them. I made the decision in 2024 to focus my time and energy on helping seniors.
